Anyone else been sucked in by the biggest train wreck of all time known officially as MTV's Jersey.Shore? Hi, my name is Nicole and I am a Jersey Sh.ore addict. Oh how I wish I could say that I had never seen a milli-second of this 'show' but at the same time whenever it is on and I happen to flip to the channel, it's like my remote gets stuck and I can't avert my eyes. Even BigTex has been sucked in--it's become a running joke in our house. And when I see the show, I just laugh and laugh and laugh. Be honest! You know that the scintillating minute-by-minute account of the lives of Sn.ooki and The.Situation in their borrowed beach house has sucked you in too. Don't deny it, it isn't your fault! I could go on and on (about how these people do exist in real life and how many people I went to college with were just like them) but I won't. A small paragraph on my blog is more than they actually deserve anyway.
So why did I bring this up? Besides the all-day marathon they ran yesterday (OMG!!!)?
Well, this morning, I was flipping the channels and paused briefly on MSNBC's Morning.Joe. BigTex watches this most mornings and as he is currently out of town, I stopped to catch some of the news. One of the best segments on the program is Willie's "News You Can't Use", which is exactly what it says--a bunch of nonsense that at least 50% of America probably thinks is important. Most of the time, it just makes me laugh. Today was no exception! In honor of the final episode airing last night of Jers.ey Shore, Willie paid homage to the program. In this farewell tribute, you will see everything you need to see to get why this show was such a train wreck. My favorite part is that I immediately called BigTex to ask if he had been watching, and he answered that he had to go, he was off to G.T.L.! We just laughed and laughed. I was crying I was laughing so hard! As promised...

My name is Danielle and I'm a Jersey Shore-aholic! LOL! It doesn't help that I actually live in NJ and I'm Italian and this show gives NJ & Italian Americans a bad rap....but I still continue to watch every trashy minute of it! My husband does too! The finale was great last night. Lots of drama, LOL :)
I am proud to say that I do *not* watch Jersey Shore, but I kinda wish I did. Not for any reason other than to see the Slap Heard Round the Shore. =)
Even a local radio station has begun to use the term "J S it up" As in 'Jersey Shore it up' when they see something like an overly tanned guy with spikey hair and wearing too many chains. =)
So, I will bow my head in shame for being a non-watcher and slink out the door.
