Happy 2010!

A day late but well wishes to all, nonetheless.

We had a great evening, enjoying each other's company. Dinner, a few cocktails, and actually neither of us made it to midnight. Sound asleep as the ball dropped, but really? That's okay by me! Yesterday we spent the day together watching the snow fall outside and cheering on my alma mater in the bowl game. We actually watched like 10 hours of college football (which we love) and after this week, we'll be sad to say goodbye until August rolls around. Thursday we'll be cheering on BigTex's alma mater in the championship game, so I guess that's the best way to end the year!

I only have one resolution for this year--I am going to really try to live in the present every day. Enough worry has crossed my brow to last five lifetimes, and I feel like I owe it to myself to just be grateful for today, for what I have now, for where I am at this moment. I suppose so many other traditional resolutions fit right into this one, so if I stay organized a bit more, drink a bit less, stay in better touch with family and friends, & lose a few pounds along the way--then bonus!

For now, I intend to just live and enjoy and love the now in my life. Because really, that's all we have anyway.

Hugs to you and yours for 2010!

I love your resolution. Going through IF really makes you worry about so many things, it makes you not focus on what you actually do have right in front of you. I wish you the best in 2010 and I hope that it brings you all your hopes and dreams.
