We are going to be close to having the snowiest January EVER in Cleveland. As of yesterday, we had nearly 31" for the month so far, and since last night we've gotten at least 8" more. The record is 42.8". We are socked in by this freakishly-large snowstorm and they are calling for another 6-10" today. Thursday night is supposed to bring another 3-5 inches. All told, we could end up with nearly 45" of snow since January 1.
Uuugggg. I miss Houston.

Sorry to hear about the snow. It doesn't really snow where I live right now (in the south). Sometimes people talk about wishing it would snow, etc., but I think they're crazy!
We got hit in MO too. No one knows how to drive in this stuff, so I am like the only one at work today.
i have shoveled more this winter already than last winter all together. i am especially bitter because teachers and kids get a snow day today, but administrators come in to work.

Oh man, I thought we had it bad! We didn't get hit with this one though...just a dusting.

Aww...I lived in SE MI for five years and for all those years the locals said it didn't snow as much as usual (I didn't think so either, I'd lived in snowier places). And now that I've moved you're getting ALL THE SNOW. OK, I sympathize if you moved from Houston. You must be terribly depressed with no sun. But do you at least get a snow day?? Can you go sledding? You should definitely make your man go sledding and then go someplace like Denny's or Perkins for hot cocoa. I know, you did NOT ask for advice (who would ask for snow advice?). But that's what I think.
