Crazy!

When I spoke with EM on Friday, I offered to meet up for lunch or dinner when I was near their town this week. We had offered this before, at our first meeting, and again via email, but we weren't sure if it would actually ever happen. So how surprised was I when our SW called last night because she was so excited to hear that we were going to meet up for dinner??? I think my response was, "We are???" Anyway, I spoke with EM very briefly last night and we are having dinner TONIGHT near their town since I will be staying overnight down there for work (it's about 2 hours from our house). BigTex won't be able to make it (BOOO) because he's working an hour from home in the opposite direction, making a 6hr round trip tonight impossible.

I think I might go CRAZY today!!!!

SW and I chatted about what might come up, things out of left field and all, and how to handle it. Then I am supposed to call her when we finish. Well, I will after I call BigTex!

And tomorrow, we are at 2w6d. Which is close to 2.5 weeks, which is close to less than 2 weeks--which will go by so slowly but I know will be super fast! CRAZY, I tell you!

Once again, my joy is all God--I was staying overnight for work because of a dinner meeting that was cancelled yesterday. He is so Good.

Prayers and happy thoughts for tonight's dinner--and that I can keep my feet on the ground long enough to get there and back!
