11 more days

Baby Tulip is officially due to enter this world in eleven more days. When will she actually come? Who knows! EM had a check at the Dr yesterday and Tulip is happy as a clam apparently. She hasn't even headed for the exit even a bit, yet. Dr's decision was to wait another week (ugghh!!!) and have a check again on Tuesday. EM will be 39w2d then, so at the very least we're hoping to get an induction date regardless of Tulip's desire to stay put. EM is really really really ready to deliver--and I can only imagine the passage of time for her must be 10-fold slower than it is for me. But, tomorrow is 10 days to 40w and that does bring me some peace. The light is getting brighter, even if it does seem like this is all happening to someone else.

Spent the day today with my mom, just looking at adorable girl clothes at a variety of stores. I must say that my motivation was because I was going back to one of the stores I had been in on Saturday with EM to pick up a little something: Gym.boree is currently selling a girls' collection called "Tulip Garden" and how giddy was I to see all these awesome outfits with Tulips for my own little Tulip! So I knew I had to have this hat for her, so we can play outside this summer and she will have her own little tulip hat! My mom loved the collection too and ended up picking out these (which I LOVE) and a cute onesie to match:

My mom has been SO generous, for us and for Tulip, and today was no exception. I have more to share on this but that will have to wait for another day. I have baby clothes to wash!
