Today our dear friends are meeting their baby for the first time. They got a call yesterday and get to bring him home tonight. Amazing. We are busting with joy for them.
Today I closed the door to the nursery/guest room. I'm done looking in there until I have a reason to.
Today the island is a bit quieter--if you listen, I think you can hear my heart crying.

One day when you least expect it, you will also be kicked off the island. But for today, {hugs} to you.
It is so hard to see others leave the island and be left behind. As other said, one day we will all cheer as you too set sail.
