So much fun!

We had such a great time this weekend! Our friends The Mom & the Stranger and my goddaughter, TinyDancer, came to visit. It was such a joy to see her--I can't believe she is going to be 5! I swear she was just born!

We did a whole lot, as you can see by the photos. I shamelessly 'borrowed' a few of the them from The Mom's post (but only so I could have them all in one place!). All the activity was such a great way to keep us distracted--us from waiting and them from worrying about getting everything together to go to Russia in less than 2 weeks to pick up EasternStar. In my opinion, it was VERY needed by all. Enjoy the photos!

TinyDancer's sunflower from the farmer's market.

TinyDancer checking out the Zoo map--where are those camels?

Petting the goats who lived next to the camels.

After some coaxing, TinyDancer rides the camel with Daddy (aka The Stranger)!

It was hot! TinyDancer loved the misting fans scattered around the zoo.

Back home and hungry--time for salsa!

Yum!!!

Now for the ice cream--TinyDancer requested chocolate!

Low Country Boil--Shrimp, Corn, Potatoes, Sausage & Chicken--delish!

Helping clean the big pot after dinner.

The Mom's birthday cookies--double chocolate chip with icing--YUM!!!
