Incubator

I'm now incubating three embies from yesterday's transfer. It went perfectly smooth, no cramping and really only a few twinges this morning. I had not had an ultrasound-guided transfer for IVF #1, so actually I thought this was pretty cool. It probably took my mind off the whole process.

We transfered the only three eggs that fertilized, two 8 cell and one 4 cell. The 8 cells looked pretty good, some minor fragmentation. The 4 cell has some pretty bad frag but we'll see. I receieved a photo of the three embies...I'll try to post that sometime once I am allowed to go up to my office. For now I'm resting on the sofa, watching the Army v. Navy football game (GO NAVY!) and my folks are coming over with chili. As the snow swirls down, I can only be amazed at how much has happened in 2008 and at how in just a few weeks 2008 will be over. What a year.

Here's to keeping the eggs warm.
