- The good part of having a very cool, rainy July and then a dramatic shift in temps late in September--the most gorgeous red, yellow, and orange leaves on nearly every tree within sight. This has to be one of the most beautiful falls I can remember.
- My darling IRL friend A. I always find a listening, kind heart, a warm, honest smile, and the biggest supporter no matter what the trouble whenever we meet. I love her dearly and can't wait to have her be a part of our munchkin's life.
- BigTex came home with a fever yesterday afternoon, amidst H1.N1. sickness in his office. A bunch of ibu.profen, some generic Ny.quil and a good night's sleep later--he went to work today without a fever and still feels good. Hopefully that is as close to the flu as we will come this fall. I am so happy that he's feeling better!
