Well, the not-so big things include:
- being a dud at blogging,
- FINALLY nearing the end of my homestudy training for my new job,
- Project M.E. week 1 and most of week 2 was close to complete failure,
- I'm committing to M.E. again, but with greater ferver,
- a year has gone by since this visit and both of our families have grown beyond our greatest expectations(!),
- I'm realizing every single day how much I love BigTex--he is an AMAZING hands-on daddy and it brings me so much joy to watch him with our Tulip
- Road trip planned for Labor Day to visit my sister in her new locale
The big things include:
- Tulip can now roll over in both directions--she mastered back to front on Sunday and now is non-stop rolling over (especially in her crib, and of course getting stuck!)
- She is starting to play/experiment with a sippy cup--she is fascinated by watching us drink from a cup and loves to hold her very own (I certainly wouldn't call what she does 'drinking' though!)
- After a rough weekend, we finally have one--a new tooth, that is! Tulip woke up this morning with the little pearly white beginning to show--how exciting!
- Notice a theme with all the big things in our life?
- Tomorrow is our LAST VISIT with our SW prior to Tulip's finalization in September. We'll have had 7 total post-placement, and we are thrilled that we are that much closer to everything being official.
- We've invited our first parents to meet up with us at our agency's annual picnic--it will hopefully be a great day to visit and for them to see how amazing their daughter is (I'm still away from the ledge-I've had a couple of phone chats with first mom recently, so that helps majorly)
- Again, is there a theme here?
I am so very happy that the big things in my life are all about my daughter. What an awesome blessing, for sure.
