Friends

We go through life balancing many things. I've written about some of them on this blog...I think about some of them nearly every day...I dream about some of them every night. I am so blessed and so very thankful for what I have and what I am able to do in my day-to-day living--I couldn't even begin to share the depths of that here.

I will, however, take a moment to tell you about how AMAZING my dear friends are in my life. They come from all parts--some from early childhood, some from college, some from my grown-up life. But each one of them means the world to me. And as we move down the IF road and into our leg of family-building via adoption, my friends have become that much more important to me. I see them, I speak with them, I miss them, I love them. They are so much a part of my heart. I cannot -- I mean CANNOT -- tell you how much my life is enriched because of their friendship.

I had a wonderful dinner tonight with one of these dear friends. She makes me smile, she makes me laugh, she makes me feel like a strong, confident, I-can-do-anything-I-want kinda girl. Her heart is infectious and when she reads this, I hope she knows I am talking about her. I love you my dear, dear friend and I look forward to many more years of laughter and friendship.

I hope all of you have real-life friends like I do...they are more precious than we will ever know!
